SEND events

Parent carer events - ‘What can be done to support our children in mainstream school?’
As part of our Delivering Better Value Programme, we have a parent carer-led pilot to deliver events to parent carers this summer term.
At these events, parent carers can access clear and accessible information on the type of support that can be offered to their child if they have additional needs.
There are 2 expert speakers at the event, who will be sharing practical help, advice and guidance for supporting children in the home and at school.
Refreshments will be available at our in-person events, along with a marketplace from other services in West Sussex, so that parents can find out more information about what support is available for their child locally.
Details of the remaining events:
- Tuesday 3 June 2025. Online for children aged 11 or over
- Thursday 5 June 2025. For children aged 11 or over at Charis Centre, Crawley
